An educational research tool, not a brokerage.

What it is

Legendary Investor lets you run any publicly traded ticker through the published investing frameworks of nine well-known investors — Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, Michael Burry, Peter Lynch, Stan Druckenmiller, Seth Klarman, Joel Greenblatt, Bill Ackman, and Ray Dalio. Each framework produces a distinct lens: quality & moat, mental models, deep value, growth at a reasonable price, macro, margin of safety, magic formula, activism, and macro cycles.

You can debate a stock, convene the council, screen for ideas, stress-test a portfolio, and ask a personalized AI assistant questions that take your holdings and watchlist into account.

What it is not

It is not a brokerage, not a registered investment adviser, and not a source of financial, legal, or tax advice. It does not place trades, hold custody of assets, or have a fiduciary duty to you. The Legend Personas are AI simulations of well-known public frameworks, not the actual statements or endorsements of those individuals.

How it works

Live quotes, fundamentals, and news come from third-party market-data providers (e.g. Finnhub, Alpha Vantage, Stooq, Yahoo Finance). SEC filings are retrieved from EDGAR. AI-generated commentary is produced by large language models routed through providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google. Retrieval-augmented features run on a vector index. Where you are signed in, your name, holdings, watchlist, and recent searches are used as private context to personalize the AI's responses to you and only you.

Principles

• Educational by default. Outputs are framed as commentary, not recommendations.
• Ground in real data. Where possible, prompts are anchored to live quotes, filings, and fundamentals.
• Diverse lenses, not one truth.Nine frameworks disagree on purpose — the point is to expose your blind spots.
• Your data, your control. Personalized context is gated by row-level security; the model providers see prompts only.
• Honest about uncertainty. AI output can be wrong. Verify before acting.
